Sunlight
Sunlight is a project that was created for the Exhibition Spectrum in which each colour of the LGBT pride flag was represented by a different photographic project. Yellow represents sunshine in the LGBT pride flag. Sunshine often portrays hope, which is a major theme in the LGBT community. There is hope that things will get better and that they will not have to keep fighting to be who they are. The sunlight in these portraits of LGBT individuals symbolises their hope, and the shadows show all of the struggles and fears that the LGBT community face everyday.
